Covid-19 (Corona) outbreak – Update
As you may be aware, in these unprecedented times, we have stopped all routine dental care.
We are currently the Urgent dental care hub for Surrey, providing emergency dental treatment under the NHS.
If you are currently registered with us and have a dental emergency, please either phone or email us and we will provide further guidance.
If you are not registered with us, please contact your own dental practice who should be available to contact via telephone. They can then refer you to us via the correct pathway.
Please do not attend the practice if you do not have an appointment already scheduled.
Further information can be found:
If you need to cancel your appointment we require 48 hours’ notice. We ask for all cancellations to be made in writing over email, in person or via our phone line, a voice message should the practice be closed is also acceptable.
For any private appointments giving less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a minimum charge of £50, although this can be higher depending on the complexity of the procedure which would have been already prepared for. For any NHS appointments giving less than 48 hours’ notice a ‘fail to attend’/FTA occurs, should any patient FTA 3 times or more they are removed from the NHS list.
For any patient wishing to dispute the policy due to a situation out of your control we request something is put in writing to the practice manager, Christina Fernandez: email@example.com, Weybridge dental practice 29 Dorchester Road Weybridge KT138PE
All patients of Weybridge dental practice are required to read and sign our terms and conditions which form part of our cancellation policy.
Our terms and conditions state:
- 48 Hours’ notice is required to cancel any appointment at Weybridge dental practice
- Patients are to pay all fees when they become due
- If an FTA occurs a minimum cancellation fee of £50 will be charged (Private appointments only). If 3 or more NHS appointments are failed we reserve the right to no longer see the patient under the provision of NHS
Cancelling on behalf of someone else
Please note that we keep strictly to the rules of clinical confidentiality. If you are cancelling on behalf of someone else, we have to know that you have their permission to do so, unless they are incapable (because of physical and mental illness) or you are the parent/family member or carer for the patient.
Cancelling due to illness
Patients who are unable to make their appointment due to illness must, where possible, contact the practice 48 hours before the appointment if they cannot attend.
Failing to notify us may result in a failure to attend charge and/or contribute to failed appointments. If any patient fails to attend 3 NHS appointments, Weybridge dental practice will no longer provide NHS dental services to the individual.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances and proof can be provided upon request, Weybridge dental practice reserves the right to offer private services only.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
